Do you ever feel like yelling “stop the world, I want to get off?” Same.
Between the relentless scroll of bad news, the cost-of-living chaos, and the pressure to somehow still pull off a ‘timeless wedding’ (can this trend just f-off already, thanks) with matching signage and a seven-tier cake, it’s enough to make even the most chill couple want to elope into the sea.
But here’s the thing: your wedding still matters. Even (especially) when the world feels heavy.
Even when the bills are stacking up and the algorithm is screaming at you to buy just one more thing to make it all “perfect.”

That’s why the latest issue of Rock n Roll Bride magazine is a bit of a rebellion. A deep breath. A reality check. It’s not about trends, it’s about remembering why you’re doing this in the first place - the real stuff. The messy, beautiful, meaningful stuff.
We’ve packed this issue with stories from couples who ripped up the rulebook and did things their way. Who skipped the traditions that didn’t feel right and leaned into what did. Who said yes to imperfect joy, to doing more with less, and to making wedding magic without melting their sanity.

Our cover model is a real bride, Shannan. Her elopement to Sam is one of the ten exclusive real wedding stories featured inside. They got married in an abandoned burial ground with no guests. They even asked their photographer to step back during their vows so it truly felt like it was just the two of them. If that’s not the perfect representation of this issue’s message, I don’t know what is.

We shot our main editorial, aptly named Deserted, in the desert just outside Las Vegas. It also also strips it all back. It’s bridal fashion gone rogue - windswept veils, sun-scorched vibes, and the kind of raw, unapologetic energy that doesn’t give a fuck about tradition. The day was pure magic. We partnered with P3 Events on the styling, it was captured beautifully by Samantha Jacob, and The Shukans.
So, if you’re planning a wedding and feel like you're losing your mind… this one’s for you. It’s time to celebrate the shit out of the love - and the life - you’ve built together. Because chasing perfection is exhausting. Choosing meaning is powerful. And doing it your way? That’s the most radical thing of all.
